Most of us have been through the process of agonizing about how to discuss difficult situations with our employers. But for Nannies, the situation can be extra stressful—after all, there are children involved.

Whether you don't know how to talk to your employer about asking for a raise, a difficult situation with a child, or the possibility that you aren't a fit with the family, in The Institute for Families and Nannies 2018 workshop, How to Have Difficult Conversations with Employers, we will give you the tools you need to be able to handle any conversation with poise.

What to expect at the workshop:

  • We'll look at two well-researched strategies that help professionals both engage with, and solve, difficult problems that arise in the workplace.

  • We will provide resources, tools, and explore common tough topics for Nannies.

  • We'll hear first hand stories, answer questions, and develop strategies that have worked for Nannies in the past.
