You're Invited: Nanny Self-Care Workshop
The nature of a Nanny's job is to spend her days caring for others. It's important for Nannies to slow down sometimes, and remember to take care of themselves. After all, it's not only for their own health, but so they continue to have the energy to be the best caregivers they can be.
in 2018 The Institute for Families and Nannies is offering a workshop that will help Nannies learn how to relax, de-stress and improve their overall well-being.
This self-care class will include:
- Learning about the effects of stress both emotionally and physically.
- Understanding how to be in relationship with stress—both for stressful things you can't change, as well as for the things you can.
- Exercises to help de-stress and learning tools to help relax and regroup both at home, and in the moment while at work.
- Hearing from you and other Nannies what makes life stressful, your tools to de-stress and your self-care methods.
We believe the workshop will prove to be a relaxing, informative, insightful and helpful experience for everyone involved. If you're interested in attending (or suggesting the idea to your Nanny).
